Where roses bloom...

I have to back peddle a bit here...
In January I told you that I was no longer supplying projects for publication in Handmade magazine as I was concentrating on my Boutique designs.

Sooooo, imagine my surprise when I received this months issue of Handmade (Vol 27 No 11) in the mail only to discover there was in fact one of my projects in there.

This Rose Garden Picket was originally one of a shabby rose collection of projects I wrote for Handmade back in 2007. They were all published with the exception of this one, which I was led to believe had disappeared. I'm not sure where exactly she has been hiding out but she has made a timely return. We are currently landscaping a new cottage picking garden, complete with roses, alongside the new studio and this little beauty will totally enhance the space. I look forward to her making her way home.

Also in this Mother's Day themed issue of Handmade, 3 of our crafty blogger friends have projects published. Look out for Kris' (
Tag Along Teddies) Annie-Rose teddy and Vikki's (Sew Useful Designs) A Mother's Love embroidery and another Vicki (Tozz's Corner) with her Miss Mipsy doll.

As hoped, I've had a very productive week finishing dreaded pattern writing and assembling new patterns (phewwwww, glad that is over). Now I am heading off for a few days for a special celebration. I'll be back next week to share all my news.

Until then,
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
