Shabbilicious Friday Link Party - 17th August

Welcome to Shabbilicious Friday

I returned to my hometown Melbourne on Wednesday, so I could spend time with my dad and be here for his surgery. After the tantalising early spring weather up on the north coast, Melbourne’s chilly winter air has been a little shock to the system. But I’m all rugged up . . . and wet and cold winter weather is perfect for dropping in to visit friends online . . . . you’ve all kept me company this past few days and I’ve really loved seeing what you have been up to this week.

So let’s get on with today’s party, starting off with this week’s Shabbilicous Friday features.

Laurie from Heaven’s Walk had me in stitches with her bedroom antics. . . oopps, that sounds a little naughty, but this hilarious post is about Laurie’s determination to change the bedskirt on a king size bed on her own. She did it . . . and the new romantic ruffled white linen looks absolutely gorgeous.

The very creative Jennifer Cotter shared an altered matchbox tutorial with 3 lovely versions.

And Lynnie at Vintage Gal Style transformed some old tins to better suit her creative needs with lovely graphics and swing tags. . . wouldn’t you love these in your craft room too?

Now that’s just 3 of the beautiful link-ups from last week. . . there were so many wonderful posts and it’s hard to see a lot from a little linky photo, so please if you have time pop around and say ‘hi’ to some of these very clever ladies.

Please feel free to grab a ‘Feature’ button from Shabby Art Boutique if you were featured today.

So come on everyone. . . show us what you’ve got this week. We are ready to come visit you, so let’s see some . . .

shabby, French & vintage gorgeousness

Show us your shabby furniture makeovers, thrifting finds, beautiful home vignettes, recipes or anything else that will make all our ‘shabby’ hearts sing.

Here are a few guidelines to make the ‘Shabbilicious Friday’ party run smoothly:

· Be sure to link back to your original post and not your main blog address (URL).

· This is a party for shabby, French or vintage inspiration only. Businesses (Etsy, Made-It etc) are welcome to promote their product as long as it fits this genre.

· Please be courteous and remember to post my button or a link back to this party on your post, so others can join the fun. If you’d like to be featured, you must link back.

If you are new here at Shabby Art Boutique and not yet a follower, then please pop over to the side-bar and click on the ‘Shabbilicious friends who follow’ link so we can stay in touch. . . . you don’t want to miss Shabbilicious Friday each week.

I can’t wait to see what you have all been up to this week. . . so let’s get inspired!!
