Let the adventure begin. . .

It has been a busy couple of days since my ‘Everything must go’ sale that was held last Thursday night.

Amazingly, 115 items sold out in just 15 minutes. . . which of course was fantastic and exactly what I wanted to happen.

It means the studio is now cleaned out. . . but I thought you may like to see a few of the items that were snatched up so quickly.

Lots of pretties dashed out the door to live in new creative spaces.

Friday was spent wrapping and packing the many vintage items and newly made home wares that are now on their way to new homes.

The market boxes and studio shelves are completely empty.

The craft supply tubs are looking a little bare too. . .

.  . but that is okay, because many new crafting supplies have arrived to take their place.

New buttons, rusty wares and pretty hangers.

There are paper mache boxes and cones. . .

and lots of pretty new paint colours too.

The studio has received a bit of a ‘spit and polish’ and everything is now set to go for the second half of the year.

It feels so good to be working on new designs and with fun new supplies. Usually I find it hard to get into Christmas mode mid year. . . but this year it just seems to be flowing. My ideas book is already full of sketches and inspiration boards for what is shaping up to be a delicious shabby and vintage Christmas at Shabby Art Boutique. Do you think it is too early to see a few sneak peeks?

Until next time. . .
