I’m planning on having an absolute corker of a week and I want you to come celebrate with me.
It’s a double celebration. . .
To mark the occasion we even did a photo shoot. . . but I’m a bit camera shy.
I’m having a week long birthday bash to celebrate my two birthdays. . . confused??
Well. . . I am actually having a birthday this week, but at my age that’s neither here nor there.
What we are really excited about is the other birthday. . .
Woodberry Designs
is turning 20 years old
Really!!. . .I have to pinch myself to believe that I’ve been in business that long. In some ways it seems like just yesterday that I was standing in the Office of Fair Trading registering my first business – I remember being so excited. Then on the other hand, when I think back over the past 20 years I’ve turned my hands to many different creative pursuits – starting with wholesale, then retail, freelancing, markets and party plan. . . later came teaching, web design and e-courses. Sadly, I’ve seen many small creative businesses come and go during that time, which makes me even prouder that I stuck it out.
To be completely honest, it doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s something I love with a passion. . . Woodberry Designs is my baby. . . I’ve nurtured it and watched it grow over the years. . . and now it is time to celebrate its longevity.
So, lets get the party started!!
Obviously this party is not one to be missed, but if you were thinking about skipping it here are a couple of reasons not to: starting today I’m holding a 20th birthday/anniversary SALE over at Woodberry Designs and I’m giving you the presents.
On Wednesday I will be presenting a special project I’ve been working on for 8 months. . . this is something I’ve been quite passionate about and I hope you will enjoy it too.
