Thank you!

I want gratefulness to be one of my core values.

Creating a life of gratitude means being thankful for the small things as well as those big things.

Today I am grateful for. . .

my first Just Joey rose of the season. . . nature never ceases to amaze me,

for my beautiful little family. . . who are safe and healthy,

for my gorgeous friends. . . who show me their love and support each and every day.

Thank you Melissa for surprising me with a pretty bunch of roses. . . I really appreciated them and they cheered me up.

Thank you Anna for my unexpected ‘just because’ gift.

Anna sent me one of her beautiful handmade fabric art journals.

She knows that I love journaling. . . I’ve already decided to use this one as a Gratitude journal.

I’ll be sure to think of Anna and our friendship every time I write in it.

Saying thank you isn’t hard at all. But the words can lose meaning if they’re just words. They need to be said with sincerity, or shown through little actions; sending a thank you note. . . giving a hug. . . doing someone a favour. . . acknowledging and praising good deeds. . . surprising someone with an act of kindness.

What are you thankful for today?
