French flowers for you. . .

Ooohhh. . . don’t the days seem to fly past swiftly when one is busy!

I find it hard to believe that once again it is Friday and the working week is over. . . but looking back on my productivity this week, I’m pleased with my progress on  stock for my upcoming market stalls.

The whir of my sewing machine has been a constant in my studio this week and if you happened to pop in you would have been overwhelmed with the sweet scent of French lavender.

I’ve been making all different kinds of fabric lavender sachets. . . French inspired, pretty florals, small and large. . . all sorts.

French Lavender is one of the easiest lavenders to grow and seems always to be in flower. The soft grey foliage is the perfect foil for the pretty lavender flowers and looks magnificent when grown as a hedge or as a mass planting. I grow several different varieties in my cottage garden, but the French is the most prolific bloomer.

These sachets are quite big and perfect for scenting a room or for use in your linen closet or lingerie drawer...or just anywhere.

They are so soothing and calming!

. Try tucking a sachet under your pillow to help induce sweet and peaceful dreams.

Now that I’ve ticked these off my list I wonder what I’ll make next?

I hope you have a relaxing and creative weekend.
