I’ve spent my week drooling over my latest vintage finds, which I picked up while on my weekend getaway at Mt Tambourine.
Just a few more rustic nick knacks for my house.
I think all of Mt Tambourine knew when I discovered the old wooden ironing board. . . I [heart] this ironing board.
Actually, it was my husband who spotted it and a few other things. . . he’s becoming a good picker!!
I love being able to wander through new antique haunts. It was especially lovely to spend the time with gorgeous friends who also enjoy and appreciate this past time.
My vintage finds weren’t the only lovelies I came home with this weekend.
The gorgeous Kris from Tag Along Teddies gifted me a bag full of goodies which was a combined early birthday and bloggy get together giftie.
Shown are just a few things from inside the bag. I’m looking forward to stitching Kris’s teddy bear stitchery design. We each have one in our favourite colour ~ mine is blue, Linda’s is pink and Kris’s is green. Kris knows my tastes so well and everything in the bag is so me!
The lovely ‘Lilly’ Linda from Lilly Cottage presented both Kris and I with these beautiful shabby bird cages. You can’t see it in the photo, but there is also another handmade gift hanging inside the cage. I have a collection of fabric birds I’ve made that are begging to call this beautiful cage home.
Thank you my lovely friends for gorgeous gifts and a wonderful weekend together.
I’ve struggled to get back into my creative groove this week. There seems to have been lots of activities taking me away from the studio, which only leaves me with short snippets of time to work on current projects. Hopefully I’ll make up some time later in the week and can bring you several new pattern packets I’m working on.
Until then ~ hugs Kerryanne
