Sunny, hot and breezy – tick – it must be laundry day!
Incidentally, I don’t usually get excited about doing laundry, but after a week of dismal wet weather my laundry is overflowing and about to spill out into the rest of the house. I don’t mind the washing and hanging out part so much, but I detest ironing. The strange thing is, I’m not one of those people who can just NOT iron – I like my washing to be pressed.
So… you may ask why I’d rather be doing laundry than enjoying a beach walk on this beautiful hot and sunny day.
The answer is simple my friends ~ doing laundry is giving me a break from the computer, which I’ve been glued to for the past week.
(I would have preferred to spend my days in the studio)
I pulled my website down in the holidays so I could revamp and rebuild it. I needed to change the structure from frames to CSS for ease of use. With one thing and another my business had to take a back seat during the holidays and I’m only now getting things sorted out. It’s been a tough slog this week but I seem to have it all worked out now and fingers crossed, the website should be finished over the weekend.
So today……. I don’t mind doing laundry and I’ve even managed a quick foray into blogland.
