It truly has been a very ‘festive’ week. Thank you to everyone who has embraced my latest designing efforts. I appreciate your lovely comments, feedback and encouragement. And of course as a designer, the real reward is when customers buy your pattern designs. It would appear that E-patterns really are the latest ‘must have’. I have to admit I was a bit hesitant to move in that direction but my customers tell me they love them.
This last design, the Hold-it-all Elves, was one that I added just yesterday… had a bit of a hold up with that one (no pun intended). It’s already proved very popular. I can think of many different ways to utilise these cheeky elves in your Christmas decorating; the samples shown here are holders for place cards, notes, menus and photos.
If you are interested in any of my new Christmas patterns, you still have one more day to take advantage of my pattern special – Purchase 3 patterns and choose a fourth pattern for FREE. This offer finishes at midnight on Sunday.
This past week I’ve been working on a few other projects. This one below was a custom order for a little boy.
I’ve also made a start on a few thrifting re-do’s, some new canvas paintings (future pattern designs), a couple of custom orders and an ongoing sewing project for OPAM (that one’s for ME). It’s always nice to have a change of pace after working solidly on a themed collection like Christmas.
My hubby and I made time today for a ‘date’…. you know, time spent together without the kids, doing things WE like. We had a most enjoyable morning at the Glasshouse viewing 3 art exhibitions, followed by a trip to the Historical Society. Six generations of my family were born and raised here in Port Macquarie, so I’ve decided to get more serious about an earlier attempt at researching the family history. After taking in all that culture we debriefed over yummy scones and lattes in one of our lovely cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our time together, but our kids thought it sounded… booooooring!!
Anyhoo, I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend.
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
