Rockin' around the Christmas tree...

You might have noticed I've been MIA from blogland this week and there is a very good reason; you might even say a 'jolly' good reason. Yes, I'm locked in the studio working on Christmas. Well... not literally locked in the studio 'cause that would be ridiculous [giggle]. More a self imposed 'nose to grind stone' confinement to the studio.

Last week I was struggling for Christmas motivation and sent out a plea for help. So, thank you all for your motivational tips and "Yes, Aunty Beryl the photo of you and your water aerobics class did help".

Sooooo, with some minor adjustments to the studio, my senses are alive with Christmas spirit. I'm enjoying the spicy aroma of my Christmas candles, swinging my hips to the endless loop of carols and munching my way through a basket of Christmas culinary delights. Some of your inspiration tips proved a tad unsuccessful; the flickering of the fairy lights did weird things to my eyes... as did the eggnog [sigh].

I'd like to show you what I am working on...
but that would spoil the surprise. You'll have to wait until I release my new Christmas Collection, just in time for 'Christmas in July'.

Did you see something new in the sneak peak?
Hhmmm... here's a hint (sshhhh). As well as paint, some of my new patterns require fabric and embroidery floss.

Tis the season to be jolly
