My love of life right now seems to be popping up in all facets of my life... especially in my work. I'm just lovin' being able to paint whatever takes my fancy. Having creative freedom allows you to just take off on tangents and follow new pathways. I had a full week where I just played around with mixed media.
Hhmmmmm.... playing around kind of implies I wasn't serious - not the case I assure you. It was more like trying some new techniques and experimenting and just following the flow.
This new canvas 'By the Sea' was one of those moments where I just followed a whim and it grew and grew....
...and next thing I know I am making little twine baskets and filling it with shells and star fish.

I think 2010 is going to be an incredibly creative year. I'm off now to experiment more while my mojo is in creative overdrive.
