Doin' the time warp....

I think I am in some kind of weird time warp where I am traveling at double pace... or at least, that's what it feels like. My list of "things to do" just seems to be getting longer and no matter how quickly I work through the list the end is never in sight..... [sigh]. Soooo, I apologise to those friends and customers waiting for a returned phone call or email - trust me, it's coming!!

Here's part of the reason I have been so busy. Hot on the heels of my Relocation Sale, which sold out in days, I released my latest book Whimsical Christmas Doodles.

This book has been hanging around almost finished throughout my convalescence, so finally I got it off to the printers.

I know by the popularity of my Christmas patterns that you all love my whimsical Christmas folk as much as I do. In this book you will find an assortment of jolly Santa's, cheeky reindeers, chubby gingers, pretty angels, snowfolk and much, much more.

The 28 page (A4) book contains 50+ original Christmas designs that can be crafted using a variety of techniques and surfaces. A very helpful Techniques page has been included to help you adapt the many designs into wonderful festive painting, sewing, stitchery, appliqué, scrapbooking and card making projects. You are limited only by your imagination!!

You can view some samples from the book here or if you would like to purchase a copy, visit my doodles page here. Woodberry Designs will remain open for 10 more days so you must hurry if you want one of these books.

As well as packaging up heaps of sale and book orders this weekend I did manage a quick craft project... hhmmm, perhaps not as quick as I first imagined but I did get it completed ready for back to school on Monday morning. Miss Aimee and I had decided as we are leaving soon, we would give a special birthday gift to her teacher this year. Imagine my horror when Miss Aimee reminds me on Saturday morning that her teacher's birthday was last Friday. So, it was a quick trip off to Spotlight for some gorgeous alphabet fabric, burgundy gingham and lining fabric....

...and tada

...a teachers carry bag.

I jazzed it up with a pen and wash design on the front pocket.

And a sweet little fabric tag with her name on it will ensure no other teacher runs off with it... [giggle].

And to finish on a high, over the weekend I received the One Lovely Blog award - twice!!

The first from Jenelle at Shabby Raggy Roses and the second from Anna at Anna Rosa Designs. Thanks girls. It's nice to hear others enjoy visiting your blog and sharing the journey.
But now... it is back to that list. I'll chat again with you all real soon!
