With Easter almost upon us I have spent the past few days finishing a few last minute gifts. Just need to make a few Easter gift cards and then I can package up my goodies.
I don't know if you share my interest but I've always loved wrapping gifts and making cards. Would you believe, once a long time ago (almost in another lifetime - before children), I was working as a Visual Merchandiser for Myer and one of our managers in a flash of inspiration decided we needed a gift wrapping service during our Christmas rush. At such short notice it fell to the VM girls to man the gift wrapping service and I remember my boss being so apologetic. Clearly he thought it was definitely not in our job description but truly, I couldn't have been happier. Actually, I couldn't believe I was being paid to wrap other peoples gifts... I was in gift wrapping heaven especially with an unlimited supply of paper and beautiful wide ribbons - who wouldn't be???
