Raindrops on cupcakes and roses...

Raindrops are falling on my head...yay!!
I'm sure it's probably only draught stricken Victorians that would support me in a happy rain dance today, given our northern neighbours have had more than their fair share of rain in recent times.

Finally the heavens have opened and the sound of rain pounding on my tin roof is music to my ears.

This is the scene from my window today... rather bleak but glorious for my garden. Everything just seems cleaner and fresher after heavy rain. Even my ever present Bell Birds are ringing with delight.

Anyhoo, I haven't posted for a whole week and I wish I could say that is because I have been busy in the studio but the truth is, I've been busy doing WHAT?? Kind of nothing...well clearly something but nothing substantial. Lots of running around after the kids, family, school events etc. This week is not looking much better either as I am back off to hospital later in the week and suddenly there seems to be lots of things I want to do before being laid up again. If only there were more hours in a day.

Here's some sneak peaks of a large canvas project I am working on currently. Unfortunately, this one is not for sale as it will be released as a new pattern packet when I re-open the Shabby Art Boutique at Woodberry Designs in the very near future.

Hopefully I will get this one finished this week and get to work on writing up the instructions. I'm still working on the French inspired paintings and will list them for sale when I re-open also.
