Ring a ring a Rosey,
A pocketful of Posey,
A tish you, a tish you,We all fall down.
On the eve of back to school I am reflecting on the wonderful holidays we have had. Two glorious weeks spent with our overseas family: playing games, a day at the beach, a visit to the museum, the pictures, family meals together and sooooo many hugs and kisses.
We waved them off mid week and since then we have all felt a little sad. I wish we could all live in the same country - it doesn't have to be the same state but the same country would allow us to see more of each other.
We have spent the last day or two preparing for back to school. The girls are both back in winter uniform so we have had to make the necessary adjustments. Of course as you would expect, this week promises some lovely sunny, warm weather later in the week which is what always happens when the kids go back for term 2 in compulsory winter uniform.
As much as I enjoy the change of pace that the holidays provide I also like the first day of back to school so I can reclaim my house and get back to my own routine. I have a busy two weeks planned prior to my surgery. I'm madly working on my new Christmas Collection of patterns and finishing a new book so they will be ready for when I re-open my business in June. It will have been 6 months since I closed so I look forward to getting back to teaching my classes, weekend workshops and selling my wares.
