It is with great pleasure and pride that I announce that
Miss Aimee
Has been appointed as the 2009
Green House Sports Captain
for her school.
Naturally, there has been much frivolity and excitement in our house for the past week. Aimee has aspired throughout primary school to be House Captain in grade 6, so we were delighted when she was chosen for this position. I'm sure she will give it her all - especially at the schools sports carnival... Go Green!!!
Onto other news, I visited my niece and her new twin boys Joel and Kai on Sunday. They are gorgeous little boys and very contented babies. I think we were all amazed at their birth weights - 8lb 8oz and 8lb 3oz. I think everyone would agree that, that is a big birth weight for a single baby but a huge weight for twins. My niece looks terrific and seems to be a very relaxed and happy mummy.

Today has been made a Red Alert day for Victoria with weather expected to be the worse conditions since Black Saturday. With gale force winds of 100 kph+ expected today I have been securing the house in readiness. We have a fire plan in place and the Princess, Gypsy and I are ready to leave if necessary.
I hope and pray all Victorians will remain safe today.
