Friendship is the greatest reward!!

This must be my lucky week and we are only half way through... already I have received two awards and a tag. Now don't I feel special.

So here's the first...

I received this from the lovely Rachael from across the pond at The Rose Room. This is not the first award Rachael has bestowed upon me and I am ever grateful Rachael. If you haven't already visited Rachael - make sure you do.

Now here are the rules for this award:
1. Pass it on to 5 fabulous blogs.
2. Include the person that gave it to you and link it back to them, if you can.
3. List 5 of your fabulous addictions.....

Here's my fabulous addictions...
1. Painting (too obvious)
2. Creating in general
3. Chocolate..mmmmm
4. My family - I can't live without that addiction!
5. Should I admit this one....blogging....really it is more like catching up daily with my friends, so I shouldn't feel any shame. Well, perhaps just a little considering the amount of time I hog the computer...[giggle].

Here's where I am meant to pass the award onto 5 blogs I consider fabulous - well, I think everyone in my sidebar is absolutely fabulous and it's too hard to pick just five, so I am awarding this to all of you. You are all fabulous!!!

So, I'm all aglow with the first award when in comes another one. This time from my blogging buddy Kylie, from A bite of Country Cupcakes. Thank you Kylie for awarding me what possibly is the nicest award I have ever received. This award acknowledges traits that I endeavour to fulfil myself and more importantly, find in others. I think we have all found blogland to be an interesting place filled with gorgeous people who are real gems and then there are those others - those people who are fake and misrepresent themselves. It takes awhile to sift through and find the beautiful people that form our lovely friendships. So Kylie, thank you for considering me as one of these people. I of course treasure your friendship and am sending this award straight back to you.

The meaning of this award: This blog invests and believes in Proximity- nearness in space, time and relationships.
These blogs are exceedingly charming.
These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends .
They are not interested in prize for self- aggrandizement!
Our hope is that when the ribbon of these prizes are cut ,even more friendships are propagated.

Please give more attention to these writers!

You are suppose to pass this award on to 8 fellow bloggers, to include the above text in there blog.

So with new and wonderful friendships formed I have given it to 8 fabulous ladies.....

Kris from Tag Along Teddies
Lily Linda from Kiss Noises and Lily Cottage
Rachael from The Rose Room
Mel from Mel's Rose Place
Rosey from Agapanthas and Goldsworthy
Alice from Alice W.
Karla from Karla's Cottage
Gail from Gail McCormack

Just when you thought this post is starting to sound like a great big love fest....[giggle]... there's more. I also got tagged by Rosey at Agapanthas & Goldsworthy. This is an easy one - I simply have to post the 4th photo in my 4th folder and then tag 4 more people. Of course I am currently on my laptop so only have access to a few recent photos so here it is...

Aaahh yes...Gypsy. My true and faithful friend that pops up on my blog often and in various guises. I think it is probably safe to say that Gypsy gets her photo taken (by various members of the family) more often than anyone else in this family - that's what one gets for being too darn cute. This one was taken on Christmas morning by Miss Aimee. You know that crazy time between opening of the presents and madly getting ready to dash off to the relatives. I think this is her 'OMG they are going out and leaving me' look. Since that photo was taken she has had a trip to the clippers and is now sporting a very short and chic hair style.

Okay, who shall I tag? Let's see.....
Kathryn from
Our Shabby Cottage
Connie from

Alison from Alison Gibbs
Lucinda from
Hume Cottage

Well, if you are still with me, thank you. I'll finish by saying that I am feeling great and actually painted in my makeshift studio on Monday. It was a good feeling, very therapeutic and I look forward to getting back to it tomorrow.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
