Today I want to say a big thank you to my sweet English friend Vikki. She is so likable and thrills me with her tales of her UK escapades, her embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions and her 'sheer genius' ....giggle. Mostly I want to thank her for passing on the knowledge. In the words of an Australian guru Vikki said [insert very cute English accent here] "Do yourself a favour and check out this website".
So I hear you ask, what is the knowledge? I will be generous and share it with you too. This store is just the most exciting book store ever. Millions of titles and the best part - free international postage!! TRUE.... yes I know that is hard to believe and at first I couldn't believe how cheap the books were plus the free postage and then the best part....[oh be still my beating heart]... the books arrive on your doorstep within the week.
So I think I can safely say that Vikki is responsible for my growing addiction. There are sooooo many pages of art/craft titles that I haven't even perused them all yet. Let's be sensible here for a minute; I'm trying to limit myself to just one book per week. There are now many envelopes like these ones here cluttering up the studio.
I suppose I should be hiding the evidence. I think I am safe from detection for a while yet. I'm segregating the books....some on the coffee table, more in the studio and I guess I could expand to the formal rooms. Yes that sounds like a plan. Hubby shouldn't notice anything is up until the books start climbing the walls - and when they do I will simply say "Vikki made me do it"....LOL
