'Sew' much to do, 'sew' little time....

It took me two days but finally the studio and classroom are back to normal...actually, better than normal. I had a big tidy up, throw out and re-organised frenzy. Sometimes you just have to do that to your workspace for fear of it swallowing you whole into the creative vortex...

With all my commitments met for the year I can now relax and enjoy creating for the sheer joy of it. My business will be open for another 4 weeks in which time I hope to upload lots of goodies to my 'Art for Sale' page. I've just started on my Christmas pretties but I also have lots of other projects already finished which include items painted with pretty roses and cupcakes. I also have a selection of original sweet faux cakes and truffles too - so look out for those next week.

Currently I am sewing up a storm. I think I can safely call myself a 'Tone Finnanger' addict. I loooove her gorgeous sewing designs which are all pretty, girly and cute.

This Tilda Angel is a gift for my SIL. She prefers very neutral colours (unlike me) so her Tilda is fairly plain.

Dressing Gown Angels

Good-night Angels

I'm teaching my youngest Miss Aimee how to sew, so we have the sewing machine set up on what used to be my girls homework desk in the rumpus room. Having it set up permanently means I can sew a little bit every day. I made this large bag for myself as a craft bag. I love how the red gingham compliments the floral. This bag has room for lots of projects which means I can grab it on the way out the door to do the school run and then I can sit and sew while waiting for school to come out...so relaxing, especially when sitting in the spring sunshine.

These fabric roses are super easy...much easier than I first thought they would be.

HOME really is where the heart is....especially when you make your home so pretty and inviting.

Time to switch back to painting now.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
