Another birthday...oh JOY!! Don't they seem to come around quick when you are middle aged? I usually despair when my birthday approaches but this year I'm feeling fine. Perhaps it is because it is an even numbered birthday - I just seem to prefer those ones.
After a few overcast and cold days I awoke this morning to a beautiful sunny Spring day. My garden is in full bloom with roses all opening at last - how could I not be happy. The kids of course were excited - any birthday is a cause for celebration and they are still too young to realise that not everyone cherishes getting older. I'm going out to dinner with my hubby, children and parents tonight, which will cap my day off perfectly.
I might even pig out on birthday cake......cause we all know birthday calories don't count!!
