I'm back!!!

Here I am......back to some form of normality again. Thank you to all my sweet friends who phoned, sent messages and emails. You all helped to cheer me up.

I had a thumping head for a few days there but returned to my old self on Wednesday when I could finally wash my hair - you have no idea how putrid it was!!!! So my locks are shiny and soft again and the stitches come out tomorrow, so the only visible scar will be hidden under my hair. I hope to put this horrid incident away in the recesses of my over crowded mind with all the other silly things I do. Thanks Gail for reminding me of the other washing machine incident earlier this year......hhmmmm, perhaps I should avoid doing laundry - washing machines appear to be dangerous for my health....LOL

So I am back in my studio entrenched in my Christmas designs. Kris of Tag along Teddies was talking about her fog up their in Toowoomba this morning and I thought I would show you the scene from my studio window today.

We have had a glorious week of sunshine this week with cold and foggy mornings. Today's fog was just a small one floating in the valley with the tops of the trees escaping into the morning sunshine. I think I am truly blessed to have such a lovely outlook as my inspiration.

This is a canvas I entered into a Art Competition earlier this month. The theme was 'View From My Window' and this is my youngest daughter Aimee making a dandelion wish. I don't usually enter art comps or shows but this one was for the SFDAV at which I am the Vice President.

Another project I finished this week was this pen and wash canvas for a friend who has just had twins.

This was the last of my pretty projects for awhile as I will be concentrating on completing my Christmas Collection over the next 2 - 3 weeks. All the designing is finished so now I can just sit in my studio and paint for awhile. Of course, I will have to write up all the instructions for the pattern packets later on, which I don't look forward to. I guess every job has some small part that we don't enjoy.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
