Random Acts of Kindness

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.

Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.

And we are never, ever the same. Anonymous

The lovely Linda from Lilly Cottage is one of these people who is a giving and loving friend even though she has her own tough road to travel. Just before Christmas Linda performed 'A Random Act of Kindness' for me, which I truly do appreciate.

For no particular reason, she posted me a lovely parcel which contained two beautiful scented decorations which she had made. The first was this gorgeous scented Victorian boot which I hung from one of my kitchen chairs so we could smell the divine scent every time one of us brushed past.

The other item was this lovely hanging pouch of potpourri - made from a doily and adorned with hand beading and ribbons.

Thank you Linda for your generosity and this selfless act which has bought me much pleasure.

News from the Studio.....

I've started unpacking my treasures from my trip to the country.

Some of the things are little gifts I bought for myself. All the rest is for my Shabby Art Boutique store. Over the next few days I will start cleaning, treating and then painting up the oodles of EPNS silverware I purchased.

Here's some of the items I found......

Antique laces, gloves and postcards.

Pretty Denton china.
I love this really large coffee perculator.

This glass washing board and antique pegs are a gift for ME.

And now for a sneak peak at the type of hand painted wares that will be available on my webstore next week.

I've lost count, but there is something like 28 pieces of painted silverware and EPNS available in pretty roses or cupcake designs.

The range includes platters of all sizes, bowls, canisters, potpourri holders, sugar and cream sets etc.

Following that will be my latest collection of canvas art.

Hugs, Kerryanne
