Raindrops on roses
And whiskers on kittens......
These are definitely a few of my favorite things....TODAY
For those of us in Melbourne we are receiving some much needed rain today. My garden has been looking so thirsty and dry so this lovely welcome soaking is much appreciated.
I dashed out to get the mail and decided to take a photo or two.
I think my garden cherub is crying tears of thanks.....his prayers have been answered.
It is very relaxing sitting in the studio painting, hearing the rain on the roof and seeing the raindrops rolling down the window pane. For those with water tanks, lets hope they were filled today.
Back to work now - I have been painting cupcakes on canvases today but now I feel all inspired to paint raindrops on roses.
