Gypsy is the cutest and most lovable 5 year old Bichon Freise. She is a house dog - which translated means she is so thoroughly spoilt that she rarely goes outside and I would even go as far to say that Gypsy doesn't believe she is a DOG!!!

Gypsy is my 'furry' daughter; my third child; my best friend; my studio buddy...and the list goes on. Yep, the Gypster is loyal and true...... and on the plus side, she can't talk, she doesn't have teenage angst, she doesn't fight with her siblings, nor does she expect gourmet cooking. She doesn't hog the phone or computer although, she does run to the phone barking when it rings - yeah, like she thinks she can answer it. If she gets up on my bed she is sooo grateful to be there she doesn't move a muscle and she doesn't snore or hog the bed either. Truly, I'm seeing a lot of positives with this particular child. Don't get me wrong......I love and adore my two daughters but there IS something special about having a loyal and devoted canine friend.
Gypsy follows me all day and a lot of the time I forget she is there......like today. I was busy typing away at the computer in the study when my daughter Aimee came in and struck up a conversation with Gypsy. Some time after Aimee had left I looked over my shoulder at the day bed and who should I see all tucked up in bed and sound asleep - yes it is the Gypster.
